Representing and defending Spanish businesses and entrepreneurs. The CEOE (Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations) was founded in 1977. It is a voluntary association that brings together two million businesses and freelancers from all sectors of activity, linked to the Confederation via more than 4500 grass-roots associations.
and social partnership

The importance of business associations in Spain is reflected in the Preliminary Section of the Spanish Constitution of 1978, which also highlights their contribution to the defence and promotion of economic and social interests.
Influence on society
The CEOE’s opinions are listened to in the upper and lower houses of the Spanish parliament, and at public administrations and official bodies.
